Olive Harvest Experience in Tuscany

0.0 £348.00 per person Child Price: £261.00

An olive harvest is one of the most fascinating experiences you can enjoy in Tuscany. It is a wonderful way to learn a lot not only about the local wine and food traditions but also about the local culture. Thanks to this experience you will be able to discover the art and skill behind the production of Tuscany's green gold. Unlike wine, another defining Tuscan gem, extra-virgin olive oil comes directly from the tree.

Tour Itinerary

Discover the world of extra virgin olive oil and its harvesting methods with a general introduction to the stunning olive grove. Our guide and the olive farmers, you begin gathering olives from some chosen trees.
The olive maker will teach olive tree processing techniques up to the cultivation of olives & the harvesting of olives by hand from the trees. This unique experience is designed to make you experience a wonderful authentic Italian & Tuscan traditional activity in the heart of the Tuscan countryside.

Following the olive harvesting activity, you'll savour a mouthwatering Tuscan lunch that includes several regional specialties. The meal will begin with a decadent appetizer consisting of traditional Italian bruschetta paired with extra-virgin olive oil & a selection of flavourful cold cuts & cheeses from Tuscany.

A traditional lasagna & Tuscan ribollita soup with bread & vegetables will round out the delicious lunch. Next comes the main course: whatever the chef has specially prepared for you—roasted meat and veggies from the organic garden!

This mouth-watering lunch will include the tasting of many Super Tuscan and DOC Wines and extra virgin olive oil!
